What VeloraMaps is
VeloraMaps is a map-based place-intelligence tool that helps people compare locations by vibe, including quietness, nature, social energy, and work-friendly signals.
Data the site may collect
- Account email, password hash, session tokens, saved places, and password reset records if you create an account.
- Saved place details such as coordinates, place name, mode, and score shown when saved.
- Anonymous voting data, including rounded coordinate, score adjustment, and a hashed identifier to reduce duplicate voting.
- Short-lived IP hashes for rate limiting, abuse prevention, and basic service reliability.
- Local device data such as theme preference, onboarding state, recent places, votes, and cookie preference.
Analytics tools
With your permission, VeloraMaps loads Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand usage, diagnose problems, and improve the product. These analytics tools are not loaded before you accept analytics cookies. Clarity may provide heatmaps and session recordings after consent. Ad storage is kept denied.
VeloraMaps does not intentionally send full search text, email addresses, user names, exact addresses, postcodes, or feedback message text to analytics. Custom analytics events use product interaction data such as mode, result count, signup method, rounded place ID, and a shortened place label where available.
Advertising
VeloraMaps may use Google AdSense to display ads. Google may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, limit, and measure ads, depending on your region, browser settings, and Google consent choices. Ads do not influence VeloraMaps scoring or recommendations.

Analytics cookies are optional. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity may use cookies or similar technologies to measure usage. If you reject analytics, the site still works, analytics scripts are not loaded on that visit, and analytics storage remains denied.
